Where are you located?
We're located just outside of Nashville, TN. We don't have a retail location though...everything we bake is made to ship right to your door!
How does this work?
If you are looking to celebrate your dog's birthday, adoption, or some other milestone, you came to the right place! Just browse through our designs, select the one that speaks to you, and then choose a cake topper, or bandana (or heck, add both, don’t let us stop you) to really show your dog the love. That’s it! We deliver a fun package right to your door that contains all the goodies you selected and you can get straight to the fun part…partying with your pup!
What size cake should I order?
We offer two cake sizes, 4” and 5”. Both are approximately 2" tall. Our 4” cake is a great choice for dogs under 40lbs. Our 5” cake is 60% larger by volume than the 4”, and that makes it the perfect choice for larger dogs, or slice it up for groups! Keep in mind these are meant as a treat and are not intended to replace your dogs regular meal.
When should I place my order to get it on time for my dog's big day?
When you place an order, you actually get to select a delivery date during the checkout process. That way, you can order whenever it's convenient to you! We tag your order with the date, and we don't bake and ship your cake until just the right time, so your items are always as fresh as possible.
Can I change the color/size/design of the cake?
When you choose a cake from one of our collections, what you see is what you get! This makes sure we deliver a consistent product that is exactly what you are expecting. If you don’t see exactly what you had in mind, please email hello@spotteddogbakery to inquire about a custom cake.

How can I track my delivery?
We ship using both USPS and UPS, and once your order ships, you'll automatically be provided with a tracking number via the email you provided during checkout. If you need further information, or to customize your delivery, we HIGHLY recommend UPS's My Choice, or using USPS's Informed Delivery feature. Once you register, you can get delivery alerts, delivery windows, update your delivery address and even day.
How long will my dog’s cake stay fresh?
Your dogs cake will taste the best if eaten within 2 days of delivery. If you plan to feed the cake at a later date, the best way to preserve it is to wrap it well and freeze it. Simply unwrap and defrost at room temperature for approximately two hours before feeding.
What if I have leftovers?
Sometimes our eyes are bigger than our tummies! If you want to save some of your dogs cake so they can enjoy it later, wrap it well and freeze it. Simply unwrap and defrost at room temperature for approximately two hours before feeding. One of our favorite things to do around here is cube up any leftovers and place the cubes in a zipper bag in the freezer. The frozen cubes make great treats!
Can I eat my dog’s cake?
Of course you can! Everything we bake with is human grade and while you COULD consume it, we don’t recommend it. Your dog will give you dirty looks, and our cakes are made to suite the tastes of your pooch. This means they aren’t sweet and you may find the flavors and textures less than appetizing. Don’t worry though, your dog is sure to approve!
Can you make custom cakes?
Absolutely. We love custom orders! Whether you want a cake that is larger, smaller, purple-ier, or a tiered fanciful cake fit for canine nuptials (yes, that’s right, we’ve done doggy wedding cakes!) we want to hear what you are looking for. We’ll do our best to make it happen. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to inquire about a custom order. Custom Cakes start at $30.
